Visiting Great Aunt Jo, snow and turkeys...

We had time while I was in Wisconsin to make a visit to see my Great Aunt Jo. I had my computer with and showed her where the Lehner family came from in Germany. Her grandfather, Johan George Lehner, came to the US from Germany in the 1860's

I also showed her some old family photos. Here's one of her brother's John (my grandfather) and Herb when they were boys:

My mom and one of Aunt Jo's sons were also there:

Record snow in Wisconsin didn't stop my mom from getting out to shovel the driveway and pick up the newspaper and mail:

A highlight of my trip was watching all the wild turkey's run back and forth across the backyard and pod of my parents. All day long, in the snow there was 15-20 birds running around in single file. It was really neat!:
