Scott and Lara's wedding

The reason we went to Florida was to go to the wedding of Scott and Lara. Scott is Kim's step-mom's nephew. The wedding was beautiful. It was held outside at a very nice country club in Ft. Myers.

Charlotte and Mattie were the first ones on the dance floor. I'm not even sure the music had started at this point yet!:

It won't surprise you that Mattie caught the bouquet! The flowers were thrown short and fell to the ground in front of Mattie and another little girl. You can just see the disappointment in the faces of the single women!




They had a DJ who talked to Mattie after she caught the flowers on a microphone. MM was altered that she had to be "this tall" to catch the flowers. They would toss the flowers again to determine who would dance with the man who caught the garter belt but MM would get to keep the flowers in the end. Mattie still has the flowers in her room at home. Here is a photo of MM, Lara and the woman who caught the flowers the 2nd time:

All the excitement of the evening was a bit much for Kenzie. Grampy took good care of her:
