Tractor riding, fishing and more at Grandpa and Grandma's

Mattie went fishing for the first time ever with Grandpa Carmody in the backyard pond. It was soo cool. Grandpa had a little "Snoopy" fishing pole and grandpa had little worms with a bobber for her. We threw the line out in the about 15-20 feet and let her crank it in when the fish bit. We caught maybe 10 fish is about 30 minuets and lost maybe 15 or more. They were all little Bluegills. Some no bigger than a little goldfish but a couple were "keeper" sized. We threw all the fish back in after we caught them. Mattie had so much fun, almost as much as I did watching her!. She had no fear of touching the fish and helped throwing them back in the water. I can't wait for another time that we can go fishing again with her.
