Aunt Mary's Farm

Our next mini visit was up to Door County Wisconsin to vist my Aunt Mary and Uncle Frankie. Aunt Mary is my dad's sister. They are retired from farming but my cousin Gary runs the family farm as an organic dairy farm. Mattie has been very excited for months and months to visit the farm and see real cows! Before we got to the farm we visited at Aunt Mary's house, had lunch with a cousin of my dad's whom I've done family tree research with and then bought some pumpkins:

We finally got to the farm in time for the evening milking. The cow's we not as glad to see Mattie and she was to see them! Most were a little nervous to see a little person like her! She did get one of the baby calfs to lik her hand (wich she promply nameed "Mattie Cow").
