Mattie's 4th birthday party

I was back in Wisconsin for the actual date of Mattie's 4th birthday, so we postponed her party till October. We were planning on having a "Princess Party" in our back yard but the weather didn't cooperate so we moved it indoors to the local recreation center pool.


Kim made a magical princess cake for the party. Mattie was very excited ti see it for the first time:




At the rec center we had a room reserved to host the festivities before we went swimming. Mackenzie got dressed up in her Tinker Bell dress:


And Mattie showed off her Belle, Beauty and the Beast dress:


Lots of excitement for the little ones before the cake would be eaten:


Jasper made quite the dramatic entrance as the Knight/Price for all the Princesses:

The Lowry Rec Center has a great kid friendly pool with a huge water side and other fun water toys:

Mattie wanted a little fish named "Nemo" for her birthday. We lead her into the room and caught her expressions when she discovered little Nemo:




Kenzie didn't mind that it was Mattie's party... she got to eat cake too:


Mattie got a "Big-girl" bike from our neighbor Camille who is a year and a half older than MM: Mattie figured out how to ride it right away:
