Las Vegas!!! Hotel, Strip and Swiming

We made it to Las Vegas! Grandma and Grandpa Carmody, Mattie, Mackenzie, Kim and I all flew out on Friday the 7th. Mackenzie was not the most pleasant traveler but we made it none the less:


I'm not sure why Mackenzie wanted to sit in her car seat in the hotel room... she hated being in it on the plane:

Mackenzie was very excited about having a babysitter (Sam) watch her and Mattie so us grown-up could hit the Strip for the night:

Nothing beats the fountains at the Bellagio:

The pool at the hotel was awesome! The best child friendly pool we've been to.

Mattie really bonded with her extended family. Here she is with Beth:

I bought this little inner-tube boat thingy for Mackenzie thinking she would love it. That was not the case:

This picture just cracks me up! Beth felt bad that Mackenzie was crying so she decided to cry as well so Mack would feel so bad!:

Mattie on the other hand loved the little boat. Here she is with Sue:

The pool had a huge zero-entry area that was perfect for Mackenzie to crawl and play in the shallow water:


Even Grandpa came down to enjoy the pool:

Mattie loved to swimming out to "Treasure Island" which was a round island in the middle of the pool where she could jump into our arms. We went back and forth countless times:
