Omaha for Memorial Day Weekend

We drove to Omaha for Memorial Day weekend.

Mimi and Pop-pop's house:

Mackenzie love to give hugs to her dolls. It is the sweetest thing. She'll take the doll (or stuffed cat, dog, cow) and pat it on it back and say "Awwwww". She'll then hand it to you so you can do the same thing to the "baby". You then repeat this procedure for about 10 min. back and forth!

Boy, if daddy would just wash her face after she eats, this would be a really cute picture:

We went to Kim's Step-sister's house (Kelly and Joe) for a Mexican Fiesta on Sunday. They have a beautiful house with a huge backyard and playset. Cody and Mattie played really well with each other:

Along with giving her baby's hugs, Kenzie loves to talk on the phone. We are going to need unlimited phone plans in the future!:

Preschool Beach Day

Mattie's preschool had a "Beach Day" in May. All the kids wore their swimsuits and they played outside all day in pools and sprinklers. They also did their own face painting. If they gave out awards for most enthusiastic face painting. Mattie would have won, hands down!. Thanks to Holly Farmer, Avery's mom, for taking and sending me copies of these photos:

Mattie kept the theme of being goofy when she drew a picture to send to Grandma Carmody. She's wearing her swim goggles! Check out how well she's drawing people these days. They are really cute.
